Learning The main focus of our work is community-based learning and we offer a series of learning programmes.
Events We hold one-off events around particular issues such as poverty, disability, fair trade and community health as well as community arts events.
Resources We are currently developing a resource library and database. We welcome the donation of appropriate books and training materials.
Consultancy We offer a consultancy service for church and community-based organizations. Please contact us, without obligation, if you wish to discuss how we may be of help.
Apart from our learning programmes, the Freire Institute holds a number of occasional events such as community discussion evenings, video presentations and arts events at our base in Todmorden. Some of our events focus specifically on Paulo Freire or his work. Other events draw upon Paulo Freire's pedagogical approach more generally.
